Visitors to Swarovski Wien will not only experience a magical spectrum of crystalline products but also amazing installations from world renowned artists. From the stunning facade and over the dazzling cubes, works of art are present on all floors of the interior.
The exterior light facade conveys constantly changing moods – from glimmering lava to glittering ice. Inside, innovative cubes provide theatrical stages for installations by world-renowned artists Gweanel Nicolas and John Miller. The glittering, reflecting wall “Lake of Shimmer” winds its way through all three levels; the creative concept developed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka. In addition, our stage on the ground floor plays host to regularly changing installations developed in collaboration with artists and designers, under the artistic lead of Gerda Buxbaum, former head of the Schloss Hetzendorf fashion school.
André Heller, responsible for the concept of the Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens, was also involved as artistic advisor in the Swarovski Wien project.
